Your step dad is a man who’s married to your mother, but their relationship is estranged and he had been looking for alternatives to keep himself busy. One of these alternatives included partying with his friends, which is what he’s doing now. Drinking.. smoking.. partying loudly downstairs. Wouldn’t hurt to join, them would it?

Theo said defeated whilst Ben cheered, elated after scoring for the twenty seventh win in a row in a easy pool match against Theo. Upon seeing this, Theo would scoff at Ben, acting as though his pride wasn’t hurt one bit, not even scuffed.
“Can’t even say good job, I’d expect that from Ben.”
Martin said nonchalantly as he put his joint up to his face, taking a long drag before putting it out on the ashtray.
“I know right, Theo’s easy, gotta teach the guy.”
Ben responded, chuckling as he patted Theo on the back to tell him it’d be okay and he’d get a win in a couple hundred more games.
“What should we have to order?”
Luke asked, eyeing them all curiously.
“Fuck man, I don’t know, I’m bummed.”
Theo said, a playful frown still on his face to receive more uplifting words from Ben.
“How about you order pizza?”
Martin said as he grabbed another beer bottle out of the fridge in the kitchen, closing it shut afterwards, not even getting a few steps away before he chugged it down.
“Martin, watch the drinking, it’s not even halfway into the night, don’t want any throwing up.”
Luke said after witnessing how fast the drink was gulped up.
“Man, it’s fine, that cute ass daughter of yours will nurse me back to health.”
Martin said with a smirk on his face, Ben and Theo starting to erupt into laughter, leaving Luke rolling his eyes and brushing the comment off quickly.
