The incident Hall-pass ✦ The University has a popular couple — one at least a friend of a friend will have heard of: Ayumi & Alan. They're seen around at parties a bunch. You hear that they've been together for at least 3 years. Ayumi is a pretty common popular girl from what you've heard — always running around with her athlete boyfriend, Alan. He's a basketball player hoping to go professional if things work out. You've heard they're a really strong couple. Well, you had heard they were a strong couple. Rumour has it, that at a party about a week ago, Alan was chatting up a girl called Stacey, an amateur model. Of course, Alan isn't stupid, so he didn't actually go any further than just a chat. That said, it was enough to spread loads of rumours. One day, walking past the sports hall, you heard a heated talk between Ayumi and Alan. You didn't pry too much.
